Howdy, I'm Iris! Very excited to be one of the Industry editors for this year, having been on the events and creative team last year. I’m a second year English student at Brasenose, a big cinema fan (anything Merchant Ivory or by Peter Greenaway!) and eBay addict. My literary favourites are Jean Rhys and Virginia Woolf, and some things that inspire me are Come Dine With Me, glam rock and Cecil Beaton.
Hello!! I’m Emer, a second year Fine Artist from London studying at Brasenose College, and I’m super excited to be one of Industry’s next editors. I’m currently making a painting from my Grampy’s 35mm film slides and a side project with eggs (?!) I love finding new vegan recipes, going to galleries and having a cocktail in the sun!
Hey I’m Kes and I’m a 2nd year studying fine art at Worcestor. I’m the head of sound (all our playlists are on Spotify). Recently I’ve been into black history and building lego.
Heya! I'm Rosa, currently in my second year at Trinity studying music and my main instrument is the viola. I loved being part of Industry last year and I'm now head of the creative team. I've always loved making things and try to draw or paint everyday. This year I've also been learning how to sew and knit and will be designing a look for the fashion gala this term - exciting! Some other facts about me: I'm a big Made In Chelsea fan and have no shame about it, I'm obsessed with reading biographies - have just finished one about Grayson Perry and I think my next read will be Silvia Plath, I've also always wanted a pet axolotl - they're unbelievably cute!
Heya everyone! I’m Ciara, I study English and German at St. John’s and am thrilled to be the head of the events team this year! In my free time I do a lot of sewing and clothes making - I love seventies and eighties fashion but generally just wear a chaotic mix of everything. Otherwise I listen to music constantly (Still Woozy is my all time fave), play netball very occasionally, and love a Plush night out far too much.
Hello! I'm Caitlin, I'm studying the Mst Film Aesthetics at Lady Margaret Hall! I'm originally from Melbourne, Australia, which means I'm contractually obligated to be obsessed with coffee. I love creative writing of all kinds, and I'm so happy to be working as Industry's head of literary this year! Recently I've been loving Daisy Johnson's novels and the podcast The Trojan Horse Affair.
