Video Wall Description

This video wall, edited by Luisa Karman from our sound team, was created to accompany ‘The Arnolfini Portrait’, a radio play written and directed by Tamsyn Chandler and edited by our sound team for Episode 3 of the Industry Magazine Podcast.

The video wall can be watched as a standalone piece (with the sound on) or in conjunction with the audio of the play, which can be found on Spotify here (as well as on Acast, Google Podcasts and Apple Podcasts).

For the optimal viewing and listening experience, we recommend muting the video, pulling up the play on Spotify and pressing play on both at the same time. We hope you enjoy!

Thank you to Kelia Brooks, Liberty Knox-Murphy, Luisa Watts and Florence Heyworth for contributing footage to the video.

More about Industry Magazine and ‘The Arnolfini Portrait’:

Industry is Oxford University’s art, fashion and culture magazine and this year, we’re bringing you a brand new podcast written and produced by our sound team. Every month, we release a new episode with all sorts of creations from our team, ranging from interviews with artists and music from up-and-coming performers to poetry readings, soundscapes and audio dramas.

For our third episode, we have produced ‘The Arnolfini Portrait’ by Tamsyn Chandler, a piece of new writing for audio:

‘From Berlin to Bristol, Jean has been avoiding herself, but when she returns for a weekend at home, she is confronted by the ghosts and the archives of her past. Join us on a journey of memory and hallucination as Jean explores her past, present and future, all within the walls of her local art gallery.’
